Our Story
We didn’t sell everything or start over—we simply stopped waiting for permission. Permission to travel. Permission to explore. Permission to choose something more than routine. The Fargo Escape Plan was born the moment we realized that someday wasn’t coming unless we met it halfway.

We’re a married couple navigating midlife, real jobs, real responsibilities, and a growing desire to experience more of the world together. Instead of putting our dreams on hold, we decided to start where we were and move forward—one intentional adventure at a time.
What We Believe
We believe freedom isn’t found in distant someday dreams, but in the choices we make right now.
We believe adventure doesn’t require a dramatic escape—it lives in road trips, new cities, quiet moments, missed turns, and saying yes more often than no.
And we believe growth has no expiration date.
What You’ll Find Here
This space is our journal and our invitation.
Here, we share:
- Travel stories and adventures big and small
- Destinations that inspire curiosity and connection
- Lessons learned on the road and along the way
- Honest reflections on marriage, midlife, and choosing presence over postponement
Whether it’s a local find, a weekend getaway or a longer escape, our focus is on adventures that feels meaningful, doable, and worth remembering.

Why We Share
We created The Fargo Escape Plan for anyone who feels the pull of adventure but wonders if it’s too late, too complicated, or too unrealistic.
We’re here to show that you don’t have to quit your life to live it fully—and that freedom is often closer than you think.
Our Mission
We exist to pursue freedom through intentional adventures, believing that growing happens now—not someday.
If you’ve been waiting for the right time, consider this your permission slip. Adventure is already calling.
